How does the interview actually work?
You click Start Interview, allow microphone access, and the interviewer greets you and starts asking questions out loud, in real time. You answer by speaking naturally. When it ends, your report is generated automatically and ready within a minute.
What kind of interviews can I practise?
Your four-week programme includes behavioural, technical and situational interviews tailored to your career level. Pro users can also paste any job description and get a custom interview matched to that exact role.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Kitana runs entirely in your browser. All you need is a device with a microphone — laptop, desktop or phone. Chrome or Edge work best.
How is my score calculated?
After each interview a separate pass analyses your full transcript and scores you out of 10 on relevance, depth, communication clarity and technical accuracy. The report then goes through a verification step to make sure it only references what you actually said. No made-up feedback.
Can I upload my CV or resume?
Yes. When you start a custom interview you can upload your resume alongside the job description. Both are used to ask more targeted questions and to tell you how well your experience matches the role.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your sessions, transcripts and reports are only accessible to you. We host data in South Africa and never share it with third parties. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
